As part of an effort to re-establish Byron's reputation as the best burger on the high street, and to get people to re-consider them, they built a brand new menu for the summer, including several new burgers catering for vegetarian, vegan and 'flexitarian' appetites.
Steve Davies (CD), Bruce Taylor (Creative) and I worked tirelessly, on a very tight deadline, to imagine what the next exciting chapter in the evolution of Byron's visual brand could be. Based on the approved initial concept, Bruce and I developed 20 variants in 2 days. With the five favourites signed off, I went to work writing the photography brief, sourcing props and directing the photography.
The final assets brought the new menu items to life with a bright contrasting colour scheme themed to their USP, combined with an abstract prop element that gave a tongue-in-cheek nod to the flavour profile, roots or ingredients. An intense but fun few weeks!
